Our free online AED course covers the theory behind defibrillation and the basic principles of using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

We think this is an incredibly important topic due to the prevalence of sudden cardiac death:

Sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) is a leading cause of death among adults over the age of 40 in the United States and other countries. In the U.S. alone, approximately 326,200 people of all ages experience EMS-assessed out-of-hospital non-traumatic SCA each year and nine out of 10 victims die.

Early defibrillation is an important step in improving survival from cardiac arrest. We developed our free online AED course with the aim of raising awareness of cardiac arrest and the importance of AED use. 

AEDs can be found in many public places and our course aims to equip users with the confidence to use an AED.

Our free online AED training covers the theory behind cardiac arrest and the role of defibrillation in improving survival. The course also covers common safety considerations and usage of an AED.
